Being In 7th Grade But Moving Up To 8th Grade

While I have been in middle school, I have felt like I’m stuck in the middle. I'm succeeding,  

but I am also scared. 

I’m afraid because I wonder if the teachers might be mean or the kids because I just came in the middle of the school year and I’m new to 8th grade. They already know each other so it might be harder for me to make friends at this time.

It also might be harder to connect with the teachers. And when I get in 8th grade I have to take a science test that I'm not ready for.
